Manchester United kit manufacturers, Adidas, are selling a 1985 Track Jacket on their official website, but the model in the photo is wearing a pair of Chelsea branded tracksuit bottoms.

The mistake is a result of Adidas sponsoring both United and Premier League rivals Chelsea, with the same model used for each photo shoot.

Either that or Adidas are preparing to launch a new range aimed at supporters who can’t quite decide which team they want to support.

Of course, there is always an outside chance the photo is in honour of Juan Mata who famously arrived at Old Trafford from Chelsea in January 2014 and probably has both in the attic somewhere.

The 1985 Track Jacket is priced at an ambitious $85, although Manchester United fans will be devastated to learn the tracksuit bottoms are not included…

Not the strongest start for Adidas after taking over from Nike this season.
